Water Filter Straws
The only filter straw we recommend is the Survival Straw
which does not contain carbon.
The Survival Straw is unique and unlike
any other product. It purifies 5,000 gallons of drinking
water and has an indefinite shelf life. It does not contain
carbon or silver. Carbon filters can create a health hazard
because the carbon may foster bacteria growth and colony
formation. And because it is made of 100% alloy media it
filters 100 times longer than carbon filters.
The Survival Straw removes chlorine, bad taste, odor, water
soluble heavy metals, pesticides, aresenic, mercury (EDB),
carcinogens and destroys harmful bacteria and viruses.
There are other disposable straws on
the market but they cost up to $30 and filter much less
water and use carbon filters.
