In Line Refrigerator Water Filters
If your refrigerator
water tastes bad you either need to install an in-line refrigerator
water filter or replace the filter cartridge.
Some refrigerators
and ice makers come with an in-line water filter attached to the water dispenser and the ice
maker. Some do not. If your fridge doesn't filter the
water it's serving up, you can quickly and easily install a water
line fridge kit with a minimum
or tools and skill.
In-line refrigerator and ice-maker water filters
are installed in the water line to the fridge and are then kept out
of sight behind your refrigerator. They allow you to have
clean, filtered water directly from your refrigerator and great
tasting ice cubes from your ice maker.
In-line refrigerator and ice-maker filters typically come with installation hardware and instructions. Most homeowners, with a minimum skill level, should be able to install an in-line water filter without help from a professional.
In-line water filters generally need to be replaced every 6 months depending on the amount of water used
- some will last up to 3 years. Replacing refrigerator water filter is
easy and can generally be done in just a few minutes, except that you may have
to move your refrigerator. We suggest looking for a filter with a long
lifespan because moving a refrigerator can be a difficult undertaking for some
people.
Once you've installed an in line refrigerator filter, and in
addition to the health benefits of clean, pure water, you will be delighted with
the taste of your water and ice cubes.
