Who are we?

We are Linda Symonds and Kenn Baynton.  We live in a small white house in a rural setting in Nova Scotia, Canada, with our three cats, hundreds of birds that visit our feeders and a silly little wild rabbit, nicknamed Stewie, who lives in our backyard.  Stewie has soon to become a father - we'll keep you posted. 

Why did we build this website?

We created this website because when we went looking for a water filtration system for our own home, the information we found was confusing and obviously skewed by each vendor to sell their own products.

After roaming around the internet trying to find out what filter system really was the best deal for our money, we ended up with some comparison charts that we used to make our decisions.  We have simply expanded those charts and we present them here - to save you hours of research when you're looking for a water filtration system for your home.

What kind of water filtration system do we use?

Since we live in a rural area - not serviced by a municipal or public water supply - we have our own private well.  There's no chlorine or fluoride or any other additives in our water so we only filter the water we want to drink - to remove bacteria, pollutants from acid rain and surface water run off.  That's why we use a faucet mounted water filter from Crystal Quest.

Do we make money from our recommendations?
